Carol Ann Branning, age 59, of Kinston, Alabama passed away February 22, 2018 at Flowers Hospital in Dothan. She was born March 18, 1958 in Arcadia, Florida. Carol is remembered for her loving and caring heart and was loved by all who knew her. She was a devoted wife, mother, memow, sister, aunt, and friend.
She is preceded in death by her father, Aaron Zack Spell and mother, Betty Gunter Llevat.
Carol is survived by her loving husband, Willard “Woody” Branning, Sr.; son, Willard “Earl” Branning, Jr. and wife Janna of Slocomb, AL; daughter, Cristy Ann Branning of Buffalo, NY; three brothers, Aaron “Bo” Spell of Houma, Louisiana, Robert “Bobby” Spell and wife Pam of Estero, FL, and William Spell of Naples, FL; three sisters, Suzanne Mixon of Okeechobee, FL, Lucy Hannah of Naples, FL, and Melissa Whitledge of Dothan, AL; three grandchildren, Shelton, Harley Ann, and Riley Ann Branning; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
A celebration of Carol’s life will be held Saturday, February 24, 2018 at 949 County Line Road, Dothan, Alabama 36305 beginning at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made Shriners Hospitals for Children, 12502 Usf Pine Drive, Tampa, Florida 33612.
