Ramiro Medina Herrera, age 73, of Daleville, Alabama unexpectedly went to be with the Lord on January 7, 2023. He was born in San Antonio De Cortes, Honduras on March 11, 1949. He was married to Brenda Hamilton. Mr. Medina Herrera was a member and served as a Deacon at For His Glory First Assembly of God in Level Plains until his passing. He was self employed as a tile setter. He loved serving the Lord and he loved his family deeply. He will be missed by all those who knew him from the church community and those who were close to him.
He is survived by, his son David Rodolfo Gutierrez Herrera and spouse Norma; grandchildren, Fanny Gisell, Emerson, and Rodolfo; his daughter Fanny Margoth Gutierrez Herrera and spouse Omar; grandchildren, Estefany Michell, Naomi Belen, and Kaleth, Jafet, step-daughters, Cheryl Zapata and spouse Adrian Zapata and Brenda Maynard and spouse David Maynard; step-son, Earl Hamilton Jr.; seven step-grandchildren and nine step-great-grandchildren; his brother Jose Maria Gutierrez Herrera; his sisters, Olivia Gutierrez Herrera, Aida Gutierrez Herrera, and Marta Mejia Herrera; his brother in Christ, Elias Fidelmar Gonzalez; his sister in Christ, Adela Torres and her son Ricky Palaceos and his spouse Lety.
Ramiro is preceded in death by his father, Andrez Medina; and his mother, Felipa Herrera.
Funeral services will be held at For His Glory First Assembly of God, 1684 Joe Bruer Road, Level Plains, Alabama, beginning at 12:00 p.m. Immediate family visitation will start at 10:30 a.m., with regular visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. Officiating the service will be Pastor Cesar Ramirez.
Flowers will be accepted at the church.
