Mary M. Black

Mary M. Black, age 62, of Andalusia, Alabama passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2018, after courageously battling lung cancer for 5 ½ years.  She was born October 26, 1955 in Ripon, Wisconsin to Otto F. and Regina Thiel.  Mary was employed as a nurse for many years at the Evergreen Medical Center and Mizell Memorial Hospital in Opp, Alabama and attended Christ the King Catholic Church in Andalusia.  She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be truly missed by all who knew her. 

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Mary is survived by one daughter, Regina Marie Black of Andalusia, Alabama; two grandchildren, Parker A. and Autumn E. Black; one brother, David Otto Thiel and wife Gail of Green Bay, WI; two sisters, Ann E. Coleman of OK and Christine J. Thiel of WI; nieces and nephews, Jay Colemen and Matthew Coleman and wife Liz all of OK, Jennifer Thiel of WI and Rachel Brugman and husband Rob of WI; great nieces and nephews, Sammy, Aaron and Lauren Coleman all of OK and Kate and Will Brugman both of WI.

Services are under the direction of Magnolia Funeral Home, Hartford Alabama.

A memorial mass will be held Saturday, March 17, 2018 beginning at 10:00 A.M.  at Christ The King Catholic Church in Andalusia, Alabama.
