Mary Ruth (Wilbanks) Bowden

Mary Ruth Bowden, age 64, of Hartford, Alabama, passed away Monday, May 1, 2023 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born August 5, 1958, in Winter Park, Florida, to the late Willie Paul Wilbanks and Beulah Mae Carver Wilbanks. Mary was very loving and never met a stranger. She and her husband, Webb, were team drivers and traveled 48 states. In her later years, she became a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, David Ray Wilbanks, Earnest Glenn Wilbanks, Johnny Lee Wilbanks, and Willie Junior Wilbanks.

Mary is survived by her husband, Webb Lee Holloway, Sr; sister, Nancy Shelly; sons, Anthony Bowden (Stephanie), Jonathan Bowden (Sheena), Lee Holloway (Tina), and David Holloway; daughters, Christy High, Margaret Boutwell, Shyann Holloway, and Sara Holloway; grandchildren, Joey and Miranda High, Selena and Drake Bowden, Addie Beth and Judson Bowden, Trinity and Joseph Boutwell, Damion and Dylon Holloway, Jenny Baker, Isaac Holloway, Noah, Leah, Anthony, Ciro, Paul, Elizabeth, Mary, Alexander, and many other grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews that she loved dearly. 

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 5, 2023 in the chapel of Magnolia Funeral Home, 507 West Main Street, Hartford, Alabama, beginning at 11:00a.m.  A time of visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
