Peggy Lou Longacre, age 60, passed away Thursday, April 4, 2019 in Ashford, Alabama. She was born June 12, 1958 in Mifflin, Pennsylvania to Ambrose and Edna Longacre. Peggy Lou was a fun-loving individual who loved life. She enjoyed the companionship of her little Chihuahua Peggy-Boo, a good game of Bingo and puzzle books. Before her health began to decline, cooking for her family and spending time with friends brought her much joy.
Peggy is preceded in death by her parents, Ambrose and Edna Longacre; and grandson Albert "bubba" Gray Jr.
She is survived by her daughter, Edna Houston; grandson Steven Gray; granddaughters, Sylvia Gray, and Peggy Burkhead; great-grandsons, Nolan Burkhead, Gary Burkhead, and Ackery Christenson; great-granddaughters, Twyla and Leela Davis; brother, David Gingras and wife Rosalee; nephews, James Sharp, and Terry Brantley; niece, Debra Miller; great-nephews, Austin Sharp, John David Miller, Wyatt Miller, and Henry Brantley; great-niece, Eva Brantley; and special friends James and Debra Burton, Jerry and Ashley Gossman, and Kelly Rafter.
A celebration of life will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, April 11, 2019 at Watermark Church of Ashford, Alabama 103 Elmer Rd, Ashford, AL 36312.
